>> reporter: the judge asked for a larger than normal pool, the two twin brothers are set to go into their second trial today, a hold out was not sure of the guilt and that ended in a mistrial. >> either way, it has brought a lot of attention to the cause for animal abuse. >> new evidence this time, this as the mother is saying that her boys are innocent. >> the judge asked for a larger jury pool because of holiday plans or the strong opinions over this case. >> as a result of this case, the mayor has an anti-animal abuse task force. two people hurt in a plane

crash about five miles from sol mon island. the injuries are not life threatening. they are looking now to see if the pilot just over shot the runway. >> and more on the pepper spray by police to the demonstrators in the occupy wall street movement. they would not move as they were hit with the pepper spray and the two police officers involved are on leave. after three mons of negotiating, a panel is expected to say that they will not be able to come up with a way to reduce the deficit by $1.2 trillion dollars. the democrats would not budge on tax hikes for the wealthy and the republicans would not budge on health care and

. he shook his head, the prosecution laid out the reasons for the arrest. it was saturday afternoon. >> he had just finished building the third and final bomb. >> the new york city police said that this video is showing the power of the devices he was building. >> he talked about killing u.s. service men that were returning home from iraq and afghanistan and talked about bombing post office in and around washington heights and police cars in new york city and a police station in new jersey. >> the investigators started to follow the 27-year-old two careers back when they found out he was following a radical cleric. he used an on line letter to learn how to build bombs and he

lickly accelerated the plot after a drone strike killed the cleric earlier this year. >> he is facing several charges, including conspiring to build a bomb for the terror purposes and he will be prosecuted under state, not the federal law. new york, wjz, eyewitness news. >> he has been denied bail and the members of the new york city occupy wall street movement spent the night camping out near the harbor. they are going to continue their walk to washington d.c. and plan to be there by thanksgiving. all eyes on the courthouse this morning and twin brothers are going on trial for killing a pit bull by setting her on fire. >> the potential jury members

are expected to come to court and be asked if they have strong opinions about the case because of all the media attention. >> the first trial ended in a mistrial. the dog was set on fire and was burned so badly she had to be put down. the twins will go object trial after the first ended in february with a hung jury. one hold out was not sure of the guilt. >> we are hoping for a good verdict in the case, but either way, this case has brought enormous attention to the animal abuse here in the city. >> they will call a new expert witness this time, they are expected to cast doubt on the video that came from the scene and it caught the twins running from the dog. the mother is continuing to say that her sons are innocent. >> they are already being held on unrelated charges, one for

attempted murder and the other on burglary. the police will step up security in and around the mall, that is after the shooting deaths of two people outside the mall the weekend before last and even with that crime, the mall is still said to be a safe place to shop by the police. >> we challenge anybody to go to the mall and they will see the police presence there and inside and outside, that will be up for the holiday season is approaching. the men accused of the double homicide was killed by the police outside of his home. the stock market is in jitters this morning after the upset in spain, their unemployment rate is at 21%. in sports, another name is on the ring of honor.

the former kicker, mat stover was inducted yet, the 5th player to get that honor. he is fourth in nfl history, the ravens leading scorer of all time. mark? >> good morning. the ravens came in without ray lewis playing for the first time in four years, but the bengals came in with even more injuries and a rookie quarterback and it looked like the advantage was going to baltimore, but andy played well for a rookie, he through for 327-yards and he also threw three interceptions and the ravens turned two of those into a touchdown. there is a pass from black to the 45th, missing with 165 receiving yards, but the

bengals had the ball and the chance to tie in the final minutes, but the ravens held on in a nail biter. >> they made plays, the guys made plays, but we bounced back and got the win. >> you got your team the lead and had to watch as they were driving in? -- i felt like a fan. it did not feel good. you understand how nervous people get, especially at the five. then you wonder. maybe it will go to overtime. the defense did a great job to step up and put on the pressure in the end. >> in the end, we wanted to make it less exciting, if possible. but give credit to the bengals, they are a good team. >> with the victory, they went to seven and three, the first place in the afctroke c north and they look to play perfect on thursday night. back to you. >> the steelers will play the chiefs from kansas sunday night
